Professor Yu Yanqiu Appointed Chief Expert of the Cell and Gene Therapy Committee, Marking a New Era for Shenyang Cell Center

On July 27, 2024, the 15th Cell Industry Conference and the First International Translational Medicine Association’s Cell and Gene Therapy Summit Forum concluded in Shenzhen. The event brought together leading experts in the section of cell and gene therapy, spotlighting key areas such as immune cell therapy, stem cell research, organoid applications, and cutting-edge technologies like organ-on-a-chip and bio 3D printing.

 

One of the most significant outcomes of the forum was the appointment of Professor Yu Yanqiu, Chairman of Shenyang Cell Center, as Chief Expert of the International Translational Medicine Association's Cell and Gene Therapy Committee. This prestigious role further solidifies her leadership in the global scientific community and underscores Shenyang Cell Center’s growing influence in the field of regenerative medicine.

 

 

Additionally, Professor Yu was named Senior Expert in the Research and Application of Cell and Gene Therapy at Southern University of Science and Technology.
